Elder Michael John Teh of the 1st Quorum of the Seventy and the Philippines Area General Authority visited Cebu Temple. A devotional was held at the Temple Chapel attended by the Temple Presidency, Matrons,Temple recorder , all employees and some volunteers.Elder Teh http://lds.org/church/leader/michael-j-teh?lang=eng ,
shared his Church employment stories and the chance to come to the office of the General Authorities twice a day having worked as messenger there.The privileged to be invited for a minute or two in the office by the Authority made him feel the "happiest employee" . Having previously worked as Manila Temple Recorder he mentioned how he miss being regularly in the Temple. He admonish all with readings from the Book of Mormon of the account when the Lord commanded Nephi to build a ship.1 Nephi 18. How the ship , when done was of curious workmanship as it being done the Lord's way. With the work experience and professional background of the employees,he counseled to seek after how the Lord's wants the work to be done.He reminds everyone that "it is not a coincidence" being chosen among
the hundreds or thousands who wanted to work in the Temple. To him, working in the Temple is "the most important , and the most beautiful work on earth".Amen to that.
