New Temple President and Matron

The Cebu City Philippines Temple has a new President and Matron, President Gomez and Matron Liza Siady. It will be a sort of homecoming for them as they hailed from Cebu City. They are staying outside the country where they got the call to preside the Temple . The whole area within Cebu City Temple district would have a familiar welcoming smiles of them as Patrons enters and participate in Ordinances once the restriction by the LGU is lifted.

Temple Recorder on Message of Hope & Gratitude

In a letter posted on his social media and friends, the Temple Recorder of the Temple described the all sorts of pain indescribable that he went through after getting infected with COVID 19. The suffering had him look more to GOD during  the agonizing days of isolation. He felt the healing power, along with the ministering and adherence to Words of Wisdom his recovery. He closes with the admonition to "Support our community to fight the unrelenting pandemic. Follow strictly the health protocol. Get the vaccine". His recovery is indeed a miracle and his experience he shared is a source of strength and faith to the Master Healer.

Health Protocold

The Temple has announced through emails to leaders on the full implementation of wearing of faceshields along with facemasks at all times in the complwx. Members, visitors and employees are enjoined to observe the measures to better prevent transmission of COVID 19.  Health declaration and Tracing forms were attached  so members can print and fill up in advance with the guard reading the temperature. This is to facilitate smoother and faster entry. Couriers and deliveries are limited outside the gate. Those who are having COVID like symptoms are advised to stay home and seek medical attention when necessarry.

The temple is still under phase 2 - where only living ordinances by appointment are being performed.

 

SPD New Hire

He is already in the thick of the Temple operation since last year and many may have not known him yet. On that note, he is among the "frontliners" in the SPD who went beyond their job to extend assistance and ran errands for the tenants and residents of the complex during the lockdown. He is Benson Estrera Tonido of Naic, Cavite. He was hired a year ago vice the resigned Temple Facility Assistant Lani Abasanta. He moved with his wofe, RoseLyn and 2 daughtera, Abish and Kim.

Benson previous work expirein in facility and industrial settings add more capability of the whole Cebu special project department to continously  operate and maintain the Temple to standard.
