Since its dedication on June 13, last year and the opening to the members the following day, the Temple is no longer a place for the public and non temple recommend holder to go inside. The record 40-thousand plus visitors who were able to visit inside during the 2- week open house guided tour was an indication of the warm response by the public to go inside. This wonderful opportunity to invite the public is continued with the weekly public tour in the complex every Thursday 5 -7PM. The missionaries of Philippines Cebu Mission facilitate the conduct of the activity. The tour allows non members to have an understanding why the Church builds temples and its importance.
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.(Psalm 27:4) "In addition to temples, surely another holy place on earth ought to be our homes. The feelings of holiness in my home prepared me for feelings of holiness in the temple." James E. Faust
