Temple Reopens and Sealings!

After almost six months of being closed due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the Temple opened on Phase  1 on Tuesday. That means a lot to those previously living endowed members who are ready for their sealing as the phase 1 opening caters to that. On Tuesday and Wednesday , previously married couples got sealed and more are on schedule. Health protocol has been observed inside and in the complex for the participants and guests. Even  with their masks on, the smiles of the sealed couples cannot be hidden. 

Temple Opens on Phase 1

Among the many temples worldwide scheduled for reopening in different phases, Cebu City Philippines Temple is the sole temple to reopen on phase 1. The temple is set to open on August 31 and under Phase 1 will perform living sealings only for previously endowed members under strict guidelines and safety precautions  according to local regulations.

The said living husband and wife sealings are by appointment. 

The much awaited gradual reopening was announced yesterday by the First Presidency of the Church.
