Safety & Security Orientation

 The Security and Temple Engineers conducted Safety and Security orientation to the new contractors and service providers of the complex. The attendees who are mostly non members were given an insight on the Temple standards and the sacredness of the Temple. Emphasis is given on the prevention of unsafe incidents.

Family Priority at Baptistry

Following directive from Temple Department to provide specific time for families to come to temple to perform baptisms & confirmations using family file names, leaders within the Cebu City Phils Temple district were notified of the schedule and time block. Even with the designated time block and due to the unique situation of the temple district , flexibility will be exercised  in accommodating families who come without appointment according to the letter.

TEMPLE 2 WEEK MAINTENANCE SHUTDOWN

For 2 weeks starting on January 13 until the 25th , the temple closes for its 1st annual maintenance shutdown this year. It can readily be seen along the main road as contractors set up their scaffolds in preparation of the Temple's facade general cleaning.After almost 5 years, the granite walls will be stripped and resealed to its original condition. During the shutdown, the Temple Team and Meetinghouse Facility Department execute planned activities that cannot be in regular Temple operating days. All of these works enhance the beauty and uplifting experience to guest and patron that enters the complex and the House of the Lord.
