The feelings of holiness in my home prepared me for feelings of holiness in the temple." James E. Faust

TEMPLE 2 WEEK MAINTENANCE SHUTDOWN
For 2 weeks starting on January 13 until the 25th , the temple closes for its 1st annual maintenance shutdown this year. It can readily be seen along the main road as contractors set up their scaffolds in preparation of the Temple's facade general cleaning. After almost 5 years, the granite walls will be stripped and resealed to its original condition. During the shutdown, the Temple Team and Meetinghouse Facility Department execute planned activities that cannot be in regular Temple operating days. All of these works enhance the beauty and uplifting experience to guest and patron that enters the complex and the House of the Lord.
