The evening with Elder J Holland was very enlightening to the Young Single Adults.and the rest of the attendees.A few of the Single Adults fielded questions which then Elder & Sister Teh and Elder & Sister Callister took turn in sharing their thoughts about it. The questions deals with the challenges SA's are facing, like getting married and living in a not so friendly family environment. The answers are equally inspiring and with personal touch as the Authorities shared their experiences in relation to the challenges faced by the SA's. Elder Michael Teh had a preview of what Elder J Holland will talk about as he explained the emphasis on the "SA" part of the "YSA" word
One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.(Psalm 27:4) "In addition to temples, surely another holy place on earth ought to be our homes. The feelings of holiness in my home prepared me for feelings of holiness in the temple." James E. Faust

President Mortimer welcoming everyone |
R-L;Asher,Cummings,Ward,Jurgensen,Richie couples |
Everyone has plenty of food to feast upon |
The Temple hosted a farewell party on October 2 for the
first batch of non-local Temple Missionaries who soon will be going home.Temple
missionaries ,ordinance worker volunteers and employees, with their families
came to share the foods they brought at the Temple Complex Stake Center
cultural hall. The programme was rather short to have more time needed to
feast over the foods. Picture takings follow as well wishers took turn
having a pose with the departing missionaries. It's a show of love to the
leaving couple temple missionaries , Elder & Sister Asher, Cummings, Ward, Richie and the Jorgensen. They have been a great example of dedication and selfless
service.
