New Assignment

Pres. Reynaldo and Sister Virginia Cuyong are called to serve as the new Manila Philippines Temple President and Matron. Aside from his busy work as the 1st counselor of the Cebu City Philippines Temple, he also chair the Safety Committee of the entire Temple Complex. It would be a sort of homecoming for them as they  previously served their mission in Manila Temple prior his calling in Cebu Temple.

New Cebu Mission President

The Cebu Phils. Mission has new parents.Elder and Sister Schmutz came last month replacing Elder and Sister Hansen.They will stay at the beautiful and spacious  Mission President's home inside the Temple complex for the next three years.They will be an addition of growing number of missionaries blessed to live within the Temple premises.

Share Your Temple Stories

The curriculum department  is gathering  edifying stories from parents, leaders and the youths.Selected inputs will be used in an article to be printed for the Liahona . With the Cebu City Philippines Temple in operation for a year now, and with the numerous members whose lives are touch by their wonderful experiences in the Temple, it is hoped that they be made known. Why is the Temple Closing for Two Weeks?

People are amazed at how the temple kept its astounding beauty and enthralling vantage. The solidly built glazed granite facade bears semblance to a fort yet sublime. Sitting on top of the hill with well trimmed green grasses on the side emphasizes its grand presence.

Laundry Section New Member

Melchor C. Daclan came home from Singapore to join the Cebu City Philippines Temple Laundry section. Melchor worked with the Employment Resource Center-Cebu before he left for Singapore to work there. He replaces Sosie Telmo who moved to the Patron Housing. He is attending Pajo Ward of Mandaue Phils. Stake.

Area President Visits Cebu Temple

Temple Card Calendar 2011

It is halfway of the year and the 2011 pocket card calendar are still a plenty. Its available at the receiving dest and at the administration office, nicely placed in a clear plastic holder. These are  now available at the Patron Housing reception desk for those who have no recommend. Aside from the information printed on that card, what is so unique with it is actually the photo on it.

Shutdown!
